Odin on highest showings VS a Celestial

So we take into account instances of Odin destroying galaxies, rocking the multiverse, defeating Mephisto in Hell without the Odinforce, etc. This is Odin on any of his highest showings VS 1 regular Celestial. It can be classic Silver Age Odin, even. None of this crap with a combined blast from three skyfathers only being enough to destroy a planet like when Odin, Zeus and that Hindu god fought one Celestial.

As a fan of the thor/odin regime, i always had a problem with the odin/destroyer vs celestials battle, not saying that odin just had to be shown defeating ALL 12 celestials, but the way it was written was a big insult to the fans of thor and odin, in the 60's and early 70's odin used to be one of the most powerful beings in the marvel U and he has since then been down played terribly. i sympathize with you on this and to answer your question, odin should go 5/10 at least with one celestial!

Did the Gods have like 1,000,000 years of prep as well?

just a thousand.

and odin was the man back then, it's just that he was unaware that there were bigger fish in the universe that even he could not take.
even with a thousand years of preparation for the 4th host, the gods still got raped.

Odin Destroyer and the Uni Mind were no match for the 4th Celestial Host

Celestials>Odin

Wurd.

Odin was amped by every Asgardian soul as well as the Oversword. Even a relatively no-name celestial (it escape me right now) blocked Odin Destroyer's disintegration beam with one-hand, casually.

Could probably give Odin the Destroyer here, along with the Oversword, Mjolnir, and Thor's Belt of Strength and he still wouldn't have a chance against a respectably powerful Celestial.

Odin gots stomped hard. Cosmic cubes are easily capable of destroying universes (kubik actually warped an entire universe into a ball or something iirc) and by their own admission, the celestials are still far above them in the power scale. Also i dont see how Odin has been terribly downplayed. He has been consistently written as being able to easily destroy galaxies. Heck his highest feat, the whole tearing the fabric of the multiverse came in a more recent time.

Lol, I always found it amusing that overall, Thor affected the Celestial's more than Odin did but neither did anything permanent.

Wait, wait...three gods' combined power only "sends a world reeling from its orbit", when one along shakes the multiverse? The multiverse-shaking Odin is the one I'm using for this fight.

When it came to Celestials in those showings, in my opinion Odin was toned down to a great extent, but it could just be me.

It's not "just you". This is just another sad example of supposed "gods" being undeservedly disrespected and used as steppingstones for a bunch of nobodies no one needs to care about. Odin should've kicked their metal asses back into space.

Agreed, anyone of those 3 Gods alone should have been able to!
