If we assume firelord has a fraction of the standard abilities of your average herald, then no.
The mere fact he's able to operate and survive in the vaccuum of space (which should be close to or at absolute zero temperatures anyway) means most of bobby's skills shouldn't mean much here.
thow in insane speeds, nova temperatures, and **possibly** matter manipulation and bobby's screwed. KILLING him might be tough/impossible without psionic ability, but we're only talking defeat, which is incapacitation or a KO. eliminating all moisture within a thousands of miles (which firelord could certainly do, should he nova the sun or something) would definitely accomplish this, at least.
