Theoretically Firelord could put down Glads as easily as Surfer, but since he hasn't shown anywhere near Surfer's finesse with the Power Cosmic I'm inclined to say that Glads would throw him a beating...
I don't really see Firelord as being more powerful tbh. Overall he's probably right on par with Glad's "average" level and may have been a little bit higher in Annihilation, but at his best Glad's should be able to put Krill down convincingly IMO since the most likely result of a match between the two would be a melee. Now if FL fought smart and used his superior ranged tactics I think it could be one Hell of a fight, but FL's the type to bring the fight up close and personal so he can crack his opponent upside the head with his staff and I don't think he could hang with Glads in extended close quarters combat.

he was physically powerful enough to easily engage immortal hercules in h2h combat and never be in any trouble whatsoever.
this is an 'average' gladiator. none of that hypothetical "fully confident/non-existent" gladiator. i think after annihilation, FL could get some wins against him. could the most-often-seen-gladiator shatter ss's board? just saying--sometimes FL is a bit underrated around here.
