If they wrote a comic with magneto defeating surfer even though we have seen magneto easily dispose of high heralds without to much trouble, would that be a low showing?
Magneto is a very versatile character and surfer is made out of a unknown metal that magneto himself might be able to manipulate.

what? Magneto disposing of high heralds easily? such as?. And also magneto cant manipulate surfers body. He gets his control over metal from his control over the EM spectrum of energy and surfer has better control of that than he does.
So yes it would be a very low showing considering that surfer should simply turn him into bacteria,remove his Xgene,etc.
