IMO that tactic would fail and cause him to turn into the PROLETARIAN again, worker`s hero of Mother Russia. Bats get stomped flat.

that batman continues to speak in russsian, tells him, if he stays in that form he will die, believing batman to speak the truth piotr reverts back and then once again batman one shots him
