you cant use it as a medium to channel energy

Given his powers Magneto is the only one on this list that could effectively use Paul Bunyan's axe (I'm assuming that's what that is). Its too heavy for anyone under Class 100 and too awkward for anyone who can't fly.

Thor is class 100. And he can ride the winds (like storm) but still, i doubt it would be more effective then mjölnir.

Have you ever tried lifting something really long that despite not being that heavy is still a ***** to carry due to its size? Well flying heroes usually have the ability to carry things like Cruise Ships so they could probably effectively wield the axe, grounded bricks probably can't do the same.
