Tell that to Northstar.

Recently, he also tracked Quicksilver from a long distance while he was moving at superhuman speeds.

Magneto possesses beyond human reflexes. Throw in his ability to put up shields with a thought, along with Apollo's fighting style and a speed blitz isn't the way his winning this. Not that he has any viable options to chose from in the first place.
