Hardcase vs Luke Cage

Hardcase

Powers/Abilities

Incredibly strong, Hardcase is able to throw a car over 50 yards with little effort. His legs muscles allow him to leap nearly a mile. Nearly invulnerable to damage and changes in temperature, only extreme temperatures affect him. When he is hurt, Hardcase can heal quickly, though the process is sped up if he drinks seawater. His senses are enhanced, allowing him to hear and see over long distances.

Hardcase later learned that the Jumpstart effect that changed him, had effectively converted him into a nanotech being, composed of organic nanotech. As such, Hardcase learned he had many untapped abilities, such as not needing to breathe.

Luke Cage

Powers/Abilities

Cage is super humanly strong, able to lift/press approximately 25 tons and punch through barriers as thick as four-inch steel plate. His skin is steel-hard and his muscles and bone tissue super-dense; he can withstand conventional handgun fire at a range of four feet and cannot be cut by the sharpest of blades, although in the event of required surgery his skin can be lacerated by an overpowered medical laser.

He can withstand up to one-ton impacts or blasts of 150 pounds of TNT without serious injury, and is impervious to temperature extremes and electrical shocks. His recovery time from injury or trauma is usually one-third that of an ordinary human.

Who takes this?

Cage has done much higher stuff than Class 25.

Not my gauge, I got his specs from Marvel go check for yourself. I was surprised to see his strength class as well. perhaps his durability comes into play in many of his upper level feats.

A thunder clap seems to be a low Class 100 feat though.

I can't really say, I mean I'm 200 lbs and I've been pushed around by a strong wind. 25 ton strength, and his durability factor to use most of his strength in the clap, would suggest that it would be possible to launch Ms. Hand 30 feet or so.

cage's thunderclap was low end it it was barely worth noting and not a 100 class style clap.

luke did it inside an enclosed room.

pfff... Hercules and hulks are describe as powerful as a hurricane or a nuke, they shatter windows, collapse homes etc etc.

How is that relevant to gauging the power of Cage's thunderclap?

I'm saying that I've been pushed around by 50+ mph winds. In Canada while walking up the street albeit on ice, I had to stop because of the wind, and found myself being pushed backwards (sliding). I could see 25 ton strength thunder claps, sending me or anyone else flying 20 - 30 ft. Get my drift? It would be quite a gust.

that sh#$ always pissed me off.. when Banner was all i never killed no one b/c he has always bn in control...

my @$$ there is no way he could avoid killing a single marvelite even if that is the marvel stance on hulk.

it all BS and massive PIS for any one of his rampages not to cause deaths.
