Assuming Ivy really is Swamp-Thing's peer as ST seemed to imply then I don't think Man-Thing can put her down.

How many times has she been taken down since the power upgrade?
I can recall her getting owned in Solomon Grundy's solo miniseries, but I don't think she actually got KOed in that instance.
Poison Ivy can probably use her Green powers to manipulate Man-Thing's body directly.

She'd have to have more control over MT than he does over himself.

Man-Thing is probably the worst kind of person to pit against a florokinetic/floropath.

If that person has more control over his body than he does.

(story was meh though...)
going by "potential" with his connection to the Nexus and all, its a stomp, unless Ivy is mega uber with recent upgrades... I really only know her as a Batman enemy

either way, I think Ivy is going to have a lot of trouble here
Man-Thing isn't just walking plants. He is a mystical force of nature that always reforms itself, and is its own isolated ecosystem (it can grow from itself). Manny also has limited plant control.
Given that... what is her FK/FP going to do? Man-Thing is the mystic force that sort of grows from the plants, not the plants themselves. She could control them, but MT would just regrow from what she controls... The best I could see is she constantly forces the plants to not regrow, but then it is her FK vs Manny's regen... which is by no means assured for her.

Just wanna point out that in the recent GS issue Poison Ivy used roots to toss two buildings aside...
