Maxam is a skilled fighter with real MA skills but not sure if he can put down odinson,,
but on the upside only Thor and Maxam can claim to go toe to toe with an angry Drax...
so even though i dont see Maxam winning it dont mean i dont have any less respect for him...
if you take away thor's hammer its even and can go to either..
remember Maxam was the one who fought hercules and thunderstrike at the same time ducking and dodging both of them b4 moon dragon even the odds for him and pip screwed him
Thor wins every time. What advantage does Maxam have against Thor? It doesn't mean Maxam wouldn't put up a great fight. He would unless Thor was pissed or pushed etc. Maxam represents the gap that exists between the elites -Drax, Hulk, Thor- and the B-list -Thing, She-Hulk- in my opinion.
I mean maxam was compared to hulk in strength and was going toe to toe with dumb drax.He also beat Herc(although through BFR) and is skilled and not dumb.
I'm not doubting thor wins at all or even a high majority.I just doubt him taking every single time.I see maxam winning at least once.

It was stated that Maxam equaled a non adrenaline pushed Drax which put him in the Hulk class. Which just confirms his extremely strong.
When did Maxam go toe to toe with dumb Drax? Did Drax have the Power Gem? I find this hard to believe.
I can live with that. But it'd have to be a lucky win as Maxam has nothing over Thor. His extremely formidable and would put up a great fight against an everyday Thor but that's it.
Maxam fought Drax when they 1st met when he crash landed on monster isle.. Drax had the power gem.
Maxam soloed everyone taking all there attacks even Moondragon's TK/TP blast..
Drax then was getting antsy asking Moon dragon if he can fight him now.
Moondragon then hid behind Drax when Maxam exploded from thr rumble and moon dragon told drax to go at it..
Drax ran in and started pounding back and fourth with Maxam...eventually Maxam BFR him... and charged right at Adam warlock which he was ko'ed by a karmic blast.
the fight was easily as impressive as the blood and thunder thor fight on the asteroid
Not remembering this. Any scans? I'm too lazy to dig. If it did happen, it would have to be between Infinity Watch #16 and #18 as that was the period when he joined the team I believe.
true.. but the punches he was landing were pretty powerful and it was punch that sent Drax flying and again think about all the attacks he put up with along with everyone else..
and again the fight he had taking blows from hercules and dishing them out while herc and thunderstrike tag teamed him.
Maxam even blocked TS and herc at the same time holding there attacks off as they pressed into him.
Hercules kept yelling at Maxam with why he wont go down and called him a varlet..
Maxam: was tryin to alleviate his situation by making half hearted jokes with herc as they traded blows while also ducking avoiding hits from thunderstike who was behind him..
Maxam: was i would but i cant the watch needs me and was all whats a varlet?
Hold on, was this during the fight where the Avengers were controlled by the Man Beast and Pip did the entire rock teleportation thing?
Can't believe I forgot this part of the fight.
I'm going to have to re-read that fight. Doubt it will change my opinion though. It'd have to be a pretty impressive showing for Maxam.
I know Maxam and Hercules fought during the Infinity War. Or some other Infinity related event. He did well but I recall him being on the losing end then resorting to battle field removal. Course it's been a while and my memory is not reliable anymore apparently.

yes.. he eventually started getting a little scared and yelled for moondragon to stop playing with captain america.
she then mind blasted TS ko'ed him making the fight more even which it would have bn if TS hadnt collapsed in his arms and pip teleported a massive boulder on top of them which herc saw and ran off. Maxam was all oh,oh, as he saw herc running the lights in his head told him something was really wrong. he looked up and saw the giant boulder fall on top of him and TS which buried them both maybe Ko'ed him long enough for Herc to go after Adam Warlock since no one could see from the dust cloud.
also Maxam was never involved in the infinity war but in the infinity crusade.
here is the gamora fight not as impressive but it shows his level of h2h skills.
