For arguments sake lets say this thread is REALLY Steve Rogers and TChalla vs Adamantium Sabretooth.
Gear has to come into play, if all the team has is Panthers claws and steves shield then although TChalla is better than Bucky in every way, he's still - like steve - inferior to Sabretooth Prime in everyway Bar MA technical skill. Take from that what you will.
As for Wolverine Spiderman, there is actually a pretty realistic (kinda) encounter already floating around the forums somewhere, i refer to the grave yard fight, it's probably the best fight these 2 have on panel, aside from the writer insinuating Spiderman is hitting wolverine with "everything he's got" but the tombstone he's hitting him against not being obliterated - tut tut - id say it's somewhat accurate. Average showings put wolverines AVERAGE KO resistance a bit above Spidermans average punching power imo.
The adamantium, regen and damage output (considering the x duo can't be disarmed) are a bit too much for any combination of squishy opponents. Especially when said squishy opponents don't have any other vast stat advantages..only arguable ones.
Weapon X take it.
Energy daggers are team 2s saving grace, if they're in play, but are they standard equipment anymore?
I do recall in an issue of Wolverine, T'Challa was able to outpace sabretooth while running through the jungle and Sabretooth was surprised, then t'challa landed the first the or four hits (and neglected to use his claws/energy daggers due to PIS)
however, current t'challa has lost all his advanced tech and stats.
He looked into the forest while he was running away and was like "no one is that fast" if I remember correctly, then Sabretooth ran more stopped to look at the bones which is where T'Challa confronted him. Not positive though.
no, he lost them after Doomwar, in his most recent series Man Without Fear, he's just another martial arts guy in a suit, albeit a genius but with no gadgets or enhancements.
