Hammers are trouble for GLs. It's a bad matchup for those who rely solely on energy attacks.

Assuming current Strange and current Fate stalemate, I like team Marvel here, even though current Alan is the most powerful of the bunch.

I think Hector is the most powerful here.

Shit, I don't know.

Is this Classic Strange as opposed to Hector Hall, then? If so, Team 2. I also don't see Hal Jordan beating any of team 2 for the majority, and it's pretty rare you'll see Highball as the weak link for a team.

I think Hal could go toe to toe with anyone on team 2. At least for a while. Bill is his best bet and I see him getting a majority from him. Surfer, Thor, and Strange would probably get a majority, but a small one.

Eh, I'm going to have to disagree there. At best, he can split Surfer. But Thor and BRB more or less meta-game Lantern type foes with their hammers. Classic Strange, I don't see Hal faring well at all against.

You think Bill would just manipulate his energy or something? Cause I see the opposite. Thor, I can see, but not Bill. Besides, GL's have the will power to reverse those types of attacks.

Pretty much, in addition to being able to break through his constructs with Stormbreaker. Bill's shown quite a bit when it comes to Energy Manipulation/absorbing. And true, GL's can resist such methods, but ultimately, Hal's power ring is going to being to wane, especially when he'll be putting forth a lot of energy to prevent himself from getting defeated/attempting to hold his own. Everyone else here has infinite energy, or at least, far more longevity when it comes to a prolonged battle.

Doesn't Hal just place his ring in the battery and reload anyway?

Yes, but he'd have to summon the battery, which leaves him ripe for being attacked in the process.

Hal's ring has been drained before on multiple occasions, and has come out on top. I can see him taking the majority from Bill & Norrin, splitting with Thor and loosing the majority to Strange. As for the fight, it depends on the incarnations of the mages.. In my honest opinion, I always place mages above cosmics.

Overall, I think DC has the advantage. Alan took on Mordru a couple years ago, and held his own against the Lord of Chaos. Add Dr. Fate and the Team clearly has the clear advantage.
