Stranger couldn't even put down Silver Surfer or Super Skrull convincingly (and I think he even had problems with Pluto).

He actually lost to Pluto; granted, that fight took place within the realm of Hades (where Pluto's power is at its peak), but the Stranger lost nonetheless...

OMG that's even worse. Seeing as how an Avengers roster actually fought their way out of Hades and Pluto couldn't stop them.
