Heh, just found this.

Dharma wins. It's spite, actually:

In short: he is a multiversal entity, of whom created/destroyed his entire universe. Essentially, Dharma represents THE God of Milestone comics.

Even Shaman Nate cannot contend with a universe builder/breaker.

True. Dharma basically did what that lady did after Flashpoint, right?

DC should use Dharma again. And more Milestone characters. Static will be showing more soon.

Except he didn't need Flash's help to do it (stick out tongue.) Dharma created the Milestone continuum, along with all of it's inhabitants, because they were "needed." After that need expired, he destroyed the universe just as swiftly. Afterward, he spent an eternity in it's void mastering his powers.

And I'm with you: I'd love to see Milestone characters make a more permanent comeback. Hardware, Icon, and Kobalt were some very fun characters. thumb up

Well they did return to DC shortly before the reboot, as far as I know Static and Hardware are the only ones to appear thus far in the new universe.

Apparently Dharma did that feat because of Final Crisis and Darkseid dying? That true?

Not really.

Dharma is omniscient and foresaw the end of his universe, but he was unable to see how his universe was destroyed. When his last two hopes (Static and Hardware) failed to change the apocalypse he foretold, Dharma absorbed the Rift and subsequently destroyed his universe as a result (ie. HE was the omega event.) After spending an eternity in the void mastering his powers, Dharma was able to feel the rippling effect of Darkseid's death in the mainstream DCU. This 'beacon' alerted Dharma to the only universe in all creation that would allow him to 'remake' his lost world. He went on to graft remnants of the Milestone continuum onto the mainstream DCU--he combined timelines, histories, events, etc. so his friends could live again. He made it seamless. Made it so no one would ever know.

But yeah, all Darkseid's death really did was help point Dharma in the right direction.
