Orin's done alright against the 100 tonner Slig, and at least done something against bigger named class 100's.. Lobo, Despero, even Superman.

He should be able to at least mount an offense, and run circles around him.. Maybe even do the whirlpool tactic Namor beat him with once.

in general, namor underwater is quite a bit stronger than am imo. at least on the most consistent bases. but i agree he would def mount an offense and could do some damage, but i don't see him being able to win many. he may be able to simply outlast hulk i guess, but he would be hard pressed imo to mount enough overall damage to take hulk out before hulk caught him and pummeled him unconcsious or maybe even simply crushed him via bearhug or choke. i'm more than willing to be proven wrong though. wonder how pr will see it. smile

I think Aquaman would take this. Not due to physical strength, but with speed, or via bfr into a crevasse, or simply being able to think outside of the box. On land though, if the Hulk was able to launch Aquaman out of the ocean then he would likely win. For now.

Aquaman 7/10

As sound is more devastating underwater, won't a thunderclap be incredibly powerful?

good point.

Would probably through him out of the water with a ThunderClap.

Savage Hulk ftw 10/10.

i thought of a thunderclap too, but couldn't think of any really effective underwater thunderclaps that her has used. i figured there must be an example, but, like i said, i couldn't find one. i thought maybe he tried against namor, but i'm not sure. namor is more durable than am as well, so maybe it just didn't work? i still think hulk catching him and taking him out is a lot more likely than am using his speed to take out hulk. even a whirlpool as mentioned likely wouldn't work. all he'd realistically need to do is thunderclap to dispel it. maybe. am could get clever and MAYBE take a couple, but i can't see more than that at all.

Heh, tbh, Hulk can take out Arthur with just a thunderclap. At the very least, it'd be incredibly devastating. Assuming he puts in sufficient effort into it of course.

Anyways, gotta give this too Hulk. I really can't see how Aquaman can win. Hulk can breathe underwater now indefinitely (His lungs adapted to it or some shit) so any air depriving tricks won't work. His physically inferior to Namor so I don't see him replicating anything else (Not that they were deciding factors either).

scientifically speaking; an underwater shock wave is far worse than one traveling through air, energy transfer degradation is greatly reduced. banner would know this and that's what makes his mind + hulk's power so devistating

but yeah, examples of savage hulk using that tactic aren't there (i think)

oh, i know theoretically what it should do. but we all know how often real world physics applies in comics...... no expression

i'd just rather see proof of it before simply saying he thunderclaps and it's over. but meh, it could well be that easy. erm

Hulk.

i'm sorry but, i dont see Aquaman's strength being much of a factor against Hulk even underwater. I just dont see Author being that strong on average even with the few high showings of punching a High Herald.

In any kind of physical confrontation, Hulk is going to win. Arthur could win by BFR maybe, and he's smart enough to know that too many hits from Hulk will put him down.

In what way is Subby > Aquaman?

And how in the world is Aquaman a ripoff? Because they both live underwater? So is every character that lives in space a ripoff of Adam Strange?
