What is the smallest team of heroes and or villains capable of beating Frank Miller's 300 Spartans in in an open field, melee combat only scenario?
Rules:
1. Hand held weapons, body armor and shields are okay, projectile or energy based shields and weapons are not.
2. Heroes and villains are limited to those that are non super powered (i.e super strength, super speed, energy powers, psi-powers, enhanced technology)
*Wolverine and Sabertooth are okay if you use the pre-adamantium versions. Batman/Wayne is fine, Batman/Azrael is not.
Even Tony's earliest Suit would be advanced tech wouldn't it? Disqualified.
Well then captain America should be disqualified due to his SSS.
Given the limitations... Give Clint Barton a bow. Some regular arrows. A shield. (caps preferrably of that's allowed)
He'd be my favorite pick to get closest... Though I'm sure it would probably be argued that iron fist could win... Though his chi powers could possibly disqualify him also..

Cap.is out because of the sss, but his shield is fair game, Stark is out because of technology, and Barton's bow is a projectile weapon. That being said I think that a team consisting of R'as, Batman, and Wolverine armed with swords, Punished with a combat knife, rounded out with Taskmaster, Bullseye, and Daredevil armed with whatever discarded weapons or objects encountered on the battle field should be enough.
Why does the SSS disqualify Cap but Wolverine and Sabertooth are allowed, after all, their healing factors put them at odds with rule 2?

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
And wolverine has strength and speed feats on par with or even better than captain America... Who at best showings would give spiderman a run for his money...
And mutants by general definition would be superpowered and disqualified under your no super powers tag line. :-/
Fine. Clint Barton dressed as Ronan! He gets captain America's shield and gambits bo staff or general staff....
He also gets a Muramasa blade but if that isn't allowed just the same one Hercules used...
Um. Yah. Clint for the win!!

Cassandra Cain. Echo. Taskmaster. Shiva. Shang Chi. Melee. Richard Dragon. Bronze Tiger. Daredevil. Julie Diggers (<--- you don't know her, but she's from the comic Gold Digger, and among the most dangerous on the list). G'nolga (<-- Ditto).
Good look actually *hitting* this lot. Heck, that team is likely excessive and more than needed...
