Rhino is actually rated as being stronger. I forget which comic Byrne Superman comic it was in, but they gave Mammoth a defined weight limit, and it did not approach the 80 ton mark. Correction, I think it was a Perez comic. Anywho it was a very long time ago.

Didn't Dove rank him at class 80-100? Can't remember. But she broke her hand hitting him and she helped stabilize a plane.

In an old The Adventures of Superman from 1987, he wasn't able to lift 67 tons more then some inches. But maybe he got stronger since then

If he was class 80-100 he would be Rhinos equal, though did he became smarter too?

I don't think so. Did Rhino become smarter or is he still a joke? Mammoth isn't too bright.

Are we using "current" versions of "best showings"? Because if we go by "best showings" I think Mammoth beats Rhino badly.
According to this :

quote:
Baran's durability has been shown to fluctuate through the years, at one point Wonder Girl and Starfire could not physically harm Baran with some of their best attacks

"Best" version Mammoth wins IMHO.
