Thor, on the other hand, cant use Mjolnir or any of his powers; he can only use brute force strength...

This seems like uber spite vs Thor, but I could be missing something. Even ignoring the Adamantium katanas, what's stopping one of the symbiotes from oozing over Thor and taking control of him?

Carnage is usually shown to be immune to sonic attacks. Venom has good resistance. With such stips the team cuts him to ribbons.
