I'm inclined to say Cap takes the majority WITH the shield. Some sort of pressure point or nerve strike, or something.

So no one thinks Cap can seriously hurt Cage without the shield?

He's hurt enhanced durability beings a number of times. Mr. Hyde, Wrecking Crew members, and Rhino spring to mind.

Since when is a jobber aura part of someone's powerset? Cap at most is low level superhuman. Even in the comic universe, he should not be battering foes who are 25 ton strength+
