Here's the deal: Superman rests fully between each round. He's going ALL OUT. There's no holding back. In each fight, he thinks the opposing team just killed Lois Lane.
The gauntlet also is cumulative, meaning, fight 1, he battles Iceman. Fight two he fights Iceman and Wolverine. Fight 3, Iceman, Wolverine and Storm. Etc.
His eye beams could do the trick. Besides which, no one said he had to kill them to win. But even if he did, he grabs him FTL, and flies him into the nearest black hole.
The OP says Superman is uber-pissed here. These mutants stand zero chance of surviving.
Mags has the auto-shields to hold him for a second, so if Supes goes after him first, Emma can drop a mind-whammy.
If Supes fights smart (hard to do while freaking out over the death of your wife) and blitzes Emma first, he can presumably take Mags eventually, but it wont be easy, per se.
Lol, I have to agree. Supes going all out from the start leaves them basically no chance. Mags may live to see the rest splattered though, I respect his sheilds : )
Well, I doubt he'd know she is a telepathic right off the bat, but it is reasonable to think he might spread his eye beams and annihilate her along with several of the other mutants right off the bat. Or just speed blitz them all. But even if he doesn't, he has some impressive TP resistence feats.
