Thanos succeeded in marvel's the end in something the supreme being could not do himself. He also succeeding in stopping the Magus, Goddess, the cancerverse, etc. You really show a lack of knowledge here but it comes as no surprise.

This was stated in a jsa comic in which he was later handily beaten by a coordinated attack through electricity after he himself admitted he needed to split them up to beat them.

Surtur far more powerful.
