Warriors Madness Thor has an Odin enchanted, Uru, Katana...
Lets think back to Blood and Thunder and Warriors Madness Thor...
Lets imagine for a second, that Thor did not have Mjolnir, but had an Uru Katana that possessed all of Mjolnirs enchantments...
Now given Thors blood lust, he would definitely be weilding this Uru Katana with lethal intent...
So with all of that being said, how does the story unfold if Thor has an enchanted Uru Katana instead of Mjolnir? For example, Beta Ray Bill might be killed eariler in the arc if Thor han an enchanted Uru Katana instead of Mjolnir (I am imagining the scene in issue 1 where Thor slams Mjolnir down on a defenseless Bill; if that was a Katana instead, Bill would have been sliced in half)...
If Thor has this Uru Katana, how does the Thanos fight go down? Does he slice Thanos in half or behead him? Is Thanos forced to run grab his weapon sooner than he did when Thor had Mjolnir? What about the initial fight with the Infinty Watch; do they all die (except Pip, who would certainly flee) when confronting Warriors Madness Thor with an enchanted Uru Katana?
What do you think? How does Blood and Thunder go down if Thor had an enchanted Uru Katana with all of Mjolnirs enchantments placed upon it?
You are spliting hairs and taking away from the spirit of the thread; the thread assumes that he'd be able to weild the Uru Katana with skill equal to that in which he weilds Mjolnir...
Now...care to comment on how Blood and Thunder would have gone down under these conditions?
My question is how does the arc in its entirety go down if Thor had an Uru Katana instead of Mjolnir...
In regards to the Thanos fight, Thor had the Power Gem when he got to Thanos, so yeah...he has the Gem when he battles Thanos.
Remember this though; Thor got in close and scored several strikes with Mjolnir against Thanos...now imagine that he was slicing Thanos with a weapon sharper and deadlier than Adamantium (and Adamantium slices through Thanos).
Do you really think Thanos just casually wins? Is he forced to go to his weapon much faster than when he actually did go to it? Or does Thor slice him limb from limb?
I can't imagine it going any different to be honest.
If PG enhanced Thor's Mjolnir strikes didn't crush Thanos' bones to dust, then he's not doing any better with an Uru Katana in terms of slashing damage.
Thanos BFR force blocks him like last time before he draws too much power from the Gem.

Why wouldnt it play out any differently? Thor definitely was trying to kill in that arc (he was about to kill Warlock when Warlock mentally summoned the Surfers surfboard to save himself and Surfer)...
Imagine Thor slicing Warlock instead of just blunt force bashing him...you dont think Warlock dies?
Keep in mind that Wolverine already sliced through Thanos with Primary Adamantium and he doesnt possess 1/100th of the strength of Thor...
Also keep in mind that Uru enchanted by Odin is harder than Primary Adamantium...
With that in mind, you cant possibly believe that it would play out the exact same; any blow Thor connects on to any character in that arc is going to cut right though them...especially if his blows land flush as they did during Blood and Thunder.

In a forum fight thats what would happen, but in the actual comic, its not allowed; for the purposes of this thread, Blood and Thunder goes down exactly like it did in the comic, but under forum conditions...
