Progenitor planned using the Omniphagos to end all existence. Remember, Progenitor was a confirmed galactic power himself-- so the Omniphagos would have logically been FAR more powerful than he was, otherwise he'd of had no need for it.

That puts it solidly above a Sun-Eater(even in the PC era), and above what we saw from Mageddon as well.

^ Remember that Mageddon was a universal threat.

Some sun eaters are capable of destroying galaxies, though i agree that omniphagos > Sun eater. Not so sure about Mageddon.
