Absorbing Man would turn into an optic-blast form upon contact, and immediately, explosively, disperse radially outwards due to the lack of cohesive forces in his new form.

That's what his powers do: his body replicates the properties of the matter he comes in contact with. Cyke's beam has the properties of matter (in regards to kinetic energy, momentum) rather than radiation. Thus AM would become like an optic beam upon impact.

He'd become a SENTIENT optic beam upon impact. He'd still retain his mind.

He has become fire and water before, why not a force beam? Actually I think he might have done that before too...

Pr: After AM becomes a force beam, Cyclops absorbs him whole!

Seriously though, they wouldn't be able to hurt each other.

Still, Absorbing Man was lucky Cyclops was there at Secret Wars. Otherwise he, Titania, Dr. Octopus, Molecule Man... well, Wolverine would have slaughtered them all.

"Hey, wimp!" That's how Wolverine addresses Living-Tribunal-level beings before he kills them.

I bet even Pr cursed Cyclops' stupidity in that scene.

"Oh no, Wolverine is going to stop Molecule Man from atomizing my boyscout ass, I must do something!"

I liked when he became cocaine. He should team up with Snow Flame. The storyline just writes itself. AM turns into cocaine and tricks Snow Flame into thinking that his cocaine God has TRULY come to him, and then AM tricks him into obeying him because cocaine.

We'd have to speculate since we don't have any specific incidents.

Unlike Havok, Cyclops' beams are kinda shit.

He'd probably just make them fall over.

Darwin would probably become immune.
He couldn't hit atom if he tried.
Creel would become a sentient beam
And meh

It would just go through Sand's body- he'd probably just reform around it.

Darwin could grow those red crystals that Clops uses in his visors to deflect or even go offensive.
