So wait.. Wait wait wait... Either Odin was trying to teach Thor a lesson, NOT kill him, therefore this feat is inadmissable as a legit combat showing...
Or..
Odin level Skyfather can be legit hurt and beaten By Elite top tiers in HTH combat.
If the second option is the case, All Out Superman is EASILY Skyfather level physically.
Why did you come to the conclusion that the ONLY possible 2 outcomes are that Odin can be beaten by herald level beings or that Thor was allowed to win at the end?
Odin was trying to teach Thor a lesson, and he allowed Thor to win in that he was not using anywhere near his full power and shape shifted into another form but that doesn't make the feat inadmissible.
Because Thor fight an opponent not even remotely trying to defeat him isn't a feat, maybe?
It makes it 100% inadmissable as a combat feat, sure, if Thors opponent did not want to win and in fact had s vested interest in not winning. There is no statement anywhere that Odin was holding back physically/stat-wise In the least in those scans.
It's proof that his opponent's durability was well below Kurses' and didn't want to defeat him. Further, he punched an axe into his face. Not a pure strength showing in the least.
Good job, Thor.
Of course it is.
And this showing is nothing whatsoever Compared to what Superman is capable of, in constrast to how you presented it to me elsewhere, liar.
So was Odin actively trying to kill Thor, or not?
Because if he was holding back physically or skill wise, this feat is inadmissable as a combat showing, and if he was going to the hilt, your Skyfather arguments are over.
So which is it?

People who understood the story would realize that Odin though a skyfather of the highest order, made himself into a level that is well below his power, but still powerful enough to smack around his boastful son and teach him a lesson. I mean why would the writer go out of his way to shoehorn that little bit of info about Orlog being 4 times stronger than Thor? Maybe to let the readers know that he has the ability to phukk up one of the strongest characters in comics? Maybe? I mean Christ what are we really doing here? The writer even went out of his way to give a specific number on his strength level.
What I can't fathom is how this is not clear to certain fans of a blue and red tights wearing character... And then going as far as trying to claim the feat is inadmissible because the supposed only other option really is not an option.
I mean it's not like Odin who is the monarch of a race of warrior gods mind you hasn't been known to teach his son a harsh lesson or two. Jeez.
Is there explicit contrary data on how Odin compares to Thor? If not, this is an indication of where Odin is relative to Thor under this writer.
If Odin was suppressing his physical stats, please point to where that is indicated in the story.
Well, yeah. Fighting a character who doesn't want to actually win the fight isn't a feat, unless there is an indication that Odin was in fact fighting with his all, like there was a caveat that Darkseid was trying to make his intention fake death seem convincing in order to mask his scheme during Orion#5.
Which, of course, utterly invalidates this as a combat feat unless you want to argue that Odin is capable of being defeated by a Class 100 character.

Butt hurt? Over what, exactly? It's already well established fact that Superman is superior to that weakling Thor is every respect as it relates to combat except versatility, and already ouiscled him with one arm before dumping him into the dirt he was spawned from.
Robbing aside, it's just extremely entertaining to me considering how this showing was presented to me by Rage in the past during a Superman/ Thor strength debate elsewhere, who did not in ANY WAY let on that this was, in fact Odin? I wonder why he left that tidbit out? Seems to me like he was TERRIFIED of the implications.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
