The creation of the MU originally is now being attributed to the Beyonders.
We don't know exactly the details of this, but generally speaking, they're responsible.

Now does this mean the previous universe too? As in the IB? I don't know.
Did they re-create what the IB had created with its death? Who knows for now.

But the original Big Bang has been re-created from the "pre-big bang void" only 4 times I'm aware of:

Sise-Neg in 74' ... Genis/Entropy in early 03' ... Thanos/HOTI in mid 03' ... and Alien Entity/Reed in 06'

Before the "pre-big bang void" was the previous universe known as the IB. Which was God.
