RIP Marvel Earth.

People seem to forget DoS Doomsday tore through the League (that had Martian Manhunter, Guy, and Maxima in it) then fought Superman to a double KO.

Don't using Batman as a crutch to make a powerful character look bad. Batman has done things that's borderline dickriding from his writers.

From kicking the Specter and not have his whole foo broken
From fighting off DD's clones in the Supergirl arc
Taking hits from Darkseid
From being transported through time

So yeah, using Batman as a crush is idiotic.

The spectre outright said that he let batman kick him so that he could feel better about being incapable of stopping him from killing the guilty.
He was using an amazonian war Axe that had god knows how much enchanted metal and using them on highly weakened clones of dd.
Darkseid was holding back immensely so as not to kill him and he was wearing apokaliptian armor.
confused I fail to see how being transported through time is a super cheese feat.

All in all, none of these are very impressive and all of them happened long after DoS.

guy tried to brawl with him, got his face beaten in, and wasn't even half as effective as he usually is after that, manhunter got punched into a giant oil container and only used ranged attacks after that, finally, maxima knocked superman and herself out by ripping a street light out of the ground and blowing up a gas station on accident.

Pretty sure he knew that, it just didnt fit his narrative. roll eyes (sarcastic)
I do agree that Doomsday's fight with a severely depleted League roster fighting really badly, isnt as impressive as many MANY other team wreckings before or since.
The character's bones were made on his 1on 1 with Supes.

With BFR on, i'd say BM could take a majority.
Mind you, i think Superman could have too, since he himself fought as if BFR was off in that story.

-The fact that he kicked Spectre to begin with and not feel any pain makes it pis.
-Doesn't matter how weak those clones were, unless they were simple thugs with no super speed nor strength. One is enough to snap Bruce in half.
-Darkseid have beat Orion who wears New Genesis armor no problem, Darkseid has kill New Genesis Gods no problem, but Bruce wears apokolips armor, he's fine and dandy.
-The fact that Darkseid transported Bruce through time and space and Bruce was still fine was my point.

Batman is one of the worse character to use when gaging powerful bricks.

Hey Riv

I usually agree with you on almost everything homie, but even thou B.F.R is on it still be difficult for B.M to B.F.R Doomsday..

I mean in the fight with Superman, Supes tried to bfr Doomsday but couldnt.

That combined assault would have massacred any other herald level being. DoS Doomsday walked right through it.

No sweat, just MO. Great as that story was, it took a lot of PIS/CIS to make it happen.

Blue Marvel fly high in the sky and blast away. Nothing Doomsday can do about that.

laughing out loud

Doomsday has fought people who could fly the whole arc, and he took it to them in the air.

I've read all of Blue Marvel's apperances, so I'd know, but indulge me carver - what's the best offensive energy projection feat that Blue Marvel has? smile

Is it something surpassing this?

I'll give you the answer - no.
Blue Marvel's energy projection feats compared to Superman's heat vision are light a candle next to an explosion - and not only was Superman's heat vision not able to even hurt Doomsday, it was also combined with other impressive energy projectors and still nothing.

Yeah, Blue Marvel isn't winning this. It's always really annoyed me that DOS Doomsday is relegated to way, way bottom of the Doomsday feats ladder. True, the JLA he took on was weak(er) than your full-on Grant Morrison rota, but people on these boards post about the DOS arc as though Doomsday did nothing more than take on some cub scouts armed with potato peelers and whoopee cushions. He KILLED SUPERMAN!

Guy alone had showings like oneshotting Captain Atom, Bloodwynd and Booster together, beating Ray in straight fight and oneshotting Maxima and Diana together.

Yes he did.
A Superman that fought with heart not brains.
And he beat up some Leaguers who fought the same way, and who somehow were living in a bubble where none of the umpteen other heroes on the planet bothered to show up.
Great story.
Lots of PIS/CIS.
