And what's with people matching him against street levelers, as if he doesn't have a spammable area attack that could level a city block (Or at the bottom end, cut through any guard/flesh and bone human..)

IF has the entire 616 rich history of feats... while Shredder has had many incarnations with - relatively - little showings... some amalgam/composite Shredded is needed here.
Both combatants potentially need to land just one strike, Rand is more likely to land it first.
In the old days, Rand actually fought pretty smart against guys like Shredder by just standing there with his IF ready, and daring them to attack.
Then their knive/sword whatever breaks against his hand, while the other one takes advantage of the opening and lands a nerve strike.

I see, I was just hoping maybe it was thought of as great because in this one hit Iron Fist will most likely explode Shredder into pieces.
