I don't think neither OWAW Superman, HP DD or WBH should be able to defeat this Amp

Any being capable of beating Mephisto would beat that amped version of Thing since it was Mephisto that was empowering him.
Keep in mind, Mephisto was beastly during this era. Death was his GF and he went toe to toe with Galactus while in his hell realm for a while.
