radiant takes this.
in that same general era, doomsday killed HUNDREDS of green lanterns and injured THOUSANDS more. it took a guardians kamikaze attack to finally defeat him - and all that really did was bfr him to another part of the universe.
when dd battled radiant though, their battle lasted over a WEEK and in that time dd didn't evolve immunity to radiant's energy, and was eventually killed by him outright. this is ridiculously impressive considering dd has always had a penchant for tanking pretty much any type of energy attacks thrown his way.
