Right now i'm leaning towards Sue, if only because i recall her doing more as Malice than i do Jean as BQ.
Willing to change my mind, of course.
Been a LONG time since i picked these comics up at the news stand.
You didnt contradict anything i said/believed about the Jean with that starement.
Going dark after that arc doesnt mean she was dark in the arc pictured.
You choosing her is fine by me, just seems you're mixing your versions.
Gender: Male Location: Planning to take over the WORLD!
huh? i never implied that going dark phoenix had anything to do with this thread.
it served only to illustrate what level of power she was at during that the time. before mastermind got to her she was operating on levels well beyond sue. her power stayed the same while she was the black queen. the dark phoenix just showed what happened when she fully cut lose--which may well happen in a forum situation.
She doesn't have to go Dark to destroy Malice. Going Dark would be spite of the highest order (Reed's machines were comparing a hungry Dark's power to Galactus).
When Jean became Phoenix her power started growing exponentially. She was owning heralds like Firelord, opening star gates, and with the help of the X-Men containing a GALAXY sized black hole powerful enough to destroy the universe.
After the M'kraan incident she subconsciously set up psionic circuit breakers to cap her power to levels she could handle. This was the Phoenix that lost to Magneto and Proteus. During the Proteus incident Mastermind started phucking with her and eventually he turned her. It was at this point that the psionic circuit breakers she set up started failing. Then he fully turned her.
