And it was underwater where Namor recovery time is far greater, and he had help. Don't see why some are trying to downplay that Abom koed Namor under water.
Man, I love Namor. Hulk, Hercules, and Thor were probably the only beings strong enough to go toe to toe with Abomination before Sentry/Hyperion/Blue Marvel etc. entered the picture.
Yes but like we said he just got through going toe to toe with Hercules AFTER eating an alpha strike from : Vision, Hercules, Thunderstrike. Then he further exerted himself overpowering Crystal's maelstrom. THEN he gets jumped by Abomination.
Once he was fully rested, it was a bad day for Abomination.
If you're an idiot and ignore context, then yeah. Otherwise "our boy" served Abomination. He kicked his @$$ so badly that Abom's employer's had to step in and save their boy.
He just got through eating an alpha strike from that year's most powerful Avengers : Vision/Hercules/Thunderstrike. He then gets into a prolonged fight with Hercules. Then he breaks from the fight to save Thunderstrike's life from Tiger Shark. Then he overpowers Crystal's maelstrom that was manhandling everyone there. THEN after all that, Abomination steps in.
You can't assume Namor wasn't at 100% there if there isn't any viable proof. Unless you can provide viable proof then I'm not going to assume Namor was weakened.

Namor just got done fighting the Avengers and BOOM Abomination haymakers him. Namor might have been temporarily knocked out, or stunned, but he soon after fought the Abomination evenly and even proved his superior underwater overall (And equal in strength). Who's supposedly more dangerous underwater than even on land because of his unique Gamma mutation.
It's more reasonable to believe he was not 100% after fighting all of them than to assume he was unaffected at all. Isn't that the reason gauntlet style matches specify whether or not they are fully rested between fights?
