Quasar wins.

Even DCnU Atom was still susceptible to getting overloaded pretty easily:

Even FS was like: "da fuks wrong with this pussy?" Lol.

PC Atom has the capacity to amp himself Va the QF, can regulate his energy flow.

Lol.

How am I "lowballing" by posting scans of DCnU Atom being beaten via energy-overload..? Historically, CA has ALWAYS had problems containing absorbed energy. This version is/was no exception.

Simple. smile

N52? Sure. Post crisis/pre? No

here we see Captain Atom and The Ray create a shield to protect from this universe ending entropy for a short time.

https://static.comicvine.com/upload...ohour1129re.jpg

he assists in absorbing Zero Hour Parallax's energies.

https://static.comicvine.com/upload...o+hour+0-16.jpg

Zero Hour number 4. Page 13, 1994. We are told and shown the entropy rifts destroy the entire universe.

https://static.comicvine.com/upload...thropy_rift.jpg

And he was working alongside only The Ray, and Ray nor darkstars have history of feats on this level and Atom does.

Yep. Atom was extremely susceptible to power drain, or having his energy manipulated.

is that a one time low showing for Cap in N52?

When you're ridicilously op, you obviously have to have some degree of plot to keep things interesting

You realize this is the version pictured in the OP, right? It is also the most recent version, and therefore who we default to per forum rules.

...And then in other instances he gets completely overloaded by absorbing the energy of Major Force:

Pre-Flashpoint CA was one of the most wildly inconsistent energy manipulators in comics, tbh.

Not necessarily. He was just susceptible to energy manipulators, and Quasar was monstrous at mucking with, or outright shutting down beings composed of energy. The Q-Bands would lock onto an energy signature and shut it down. He shut down Carol Danvers in her Binary form, and she's a mid level energy manipulator.

..Major force isn't weak..

I'm going by average, would that be the only time he's been overloaded in PC?

Major force was confirmed/stated to be equal to atom since they're made the same way so he actually overloaded on himself
