Which characters could survive the lethal atmosphere of Jupiter? Which characters actually manage to brace the surface (if there is one) and explore the depths of this infernal planet?
Yeah, I'm with Abhi here. You should have specified a tier list or something. Any character that can survive the pressure and doesn't need to breathe could do it. There are non heralds that could do it, for example : Wonder Man and Colossus.

Because there is no solid ground, the surface of Jupiter is defined as the point where the atmospheric pressure is equal to that of Earth. At this point, the pull of gravity is almost two and a half times stronger than it is on our planet.
So they think it probably doesn't have one anymore, but that's how it started based on how they understand planets forming. I remember hearing Jupiter's core being 10 times the size of Earth on NASA'S UNEXPLAINED FILES(I think the name was) on SCIENCE (channel) when talking about a megaearth mass found that wasn't a gas giant. That it was 17 times the size of Earth but had no atmosphere (and I recall Jupiter's core being 10 times Earth). They said it's impossible to form that way due to how they understand planets forming, and said it must have been something destroyed the atmosphere. But.....they can't come up with a NATURAL explanation for how. So this could be proof of--

Another theory, from the website the mission to scan Jupiter has, is it never had a solid core and just a large enough mass of gas started collecting more. So a proto star I guess.
