Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
Given the extent to which his power levels are dynamic, Superman is hard to average out. Still, doing my best, I'd on the whole give Superman the advantage over virtually any Elite Top Tier or Herald character at Marvel (barring a few possible exceptions where power sets match up in some way that demands the writer exploit Superman's weaknesses).
But I only give Supes maybe a 3-4/10 vs. Thanos, although some Superman portrayals--particularly when 'all out'--would be favored over the typical Thanos portrayal.
So I'm trying to think of characters between Thanos and the Thor/Surfer/Gladiator/Blue Marvel level. Coming up empty, though. But someone in that range would be my answer, if I could find the right one.
See, Carv knows. He pretends to hate Superman, but here he admits he doesn't know, and that Surfer can wreck any herald, implying Superman is well above any herald and would tank his attack as easy as he tanked a Kamehameha in Death Battle 50.
