I was just thinking how ridiculous "He can tank hits from Superman!" really is.
I just wonder if writers have a blind spot about taking his best, or even 25%, vs tanking a mountain dropping on the head.
That kind of blind spot DOES happen. It's why Karate Kid Val Armorr couldn't KO Persuader with clean punch's to the jaw, yet punching a chunk of granite (Or similar material) out of a pillar knocks him cold. Because the brain automatically thinks "Stone to the head would hurt", but can't really wrap their head around a guy chopping a mountain in half.
