What if comic book companies were like teams/conferences in a professional sports league, and they actually had to keep their superheroes happy and honor contacts, on top of beating the competition, the same way sports teams have to with their athletes?

What heroes/villains/characters from say Marvel would choose to join DC if they became free agents?

Like has Doom become so bored with the Marvel Multiverse at this point would he rather be the next LeBron in the DC conference?

Who would Marvel and DC actually want to trade at all?

Who could Dark Horse get for Hellboy or Conan to keep them at a more even keel?

What would Image have to give up to get Angela back from Marvel?

I think wanna keep it to strictly comics cuz considering movies and other media changes everything.
