On a whole new level had him beating Thor and having tough fights with Exemplars. INSANE

He didn't even get hurt that many times in his handful of appearances. OUT OF BOUNDS

Good thread - some questions:

1) 8th Day Juggernaut is Marko accessing all of the physical powers of Cytorrak, right? How much stronger/power did that make him? What I understand is that previously he was not accessing all the power as he had gotten the Ruby of Cytorrak earlier than he should have, and thus only got all the powers when the various entities awakened their avatars (and Cytorrak) gave Marko what should have been his. How much more was this power? wink

2) Can DD really be defeated anymore by physical strength? The main danger with DD is put him down once and you can’t do that again. (And yes, I know we are using DOS DD not HP DD ...HP DD would easily beat any version of juggernaut with the possible exception of Trion ....and even then I’d still pick the character that could only be defeated by taking it to Entropy).

3) Can 8th Day Juggernaut kill Superman? On the DOS arc Superman’s only chance at the time was to break his (then) mental barriers and give DD all he had, ‘killing’ himself at the same time. That’s a good marker for DOS DD’s strength (among other things, eg speed as he was blitzing the JLA).

Good match. I like it.

Regarding Doomsday not being killed by the same power twice. If Luke Cage killed him using his strength, does that mean Superman, using his (superior to Luke Cage) strength cannot kill Doomsday the same way?

If Luke Cage physically killed Doomsday the first time, it'd take a vastly more powerful being to kill him the second time, as DD evolves FAR beyond the level of whatever 'killed' him previously.

For example: an all-out/bloodlusted Superman was able to physically 'kill' him during DoS. Fast-forward to the H/P arc, however, and the strongest blows from MB Superman(who was massively amped beyond his DoS levels) could barely even knock DD down... Never mind kill him.

His power increases(especially after resurrecting from death) are exponential.

Is this the Juggernaut after his fight with Thor that was dipping in Cytorrak power, punching through dimensions? Also, the Doomsday that fought Thor stood in one spot and tanked a full fledge hammer shot without pause. Doomsday isnt doing anything to him. Especially THIS versions of Doomsday. Juggernaut kills him.

Even if this was Doomsday after being knocked into a coma by Superman hitting him hard enough to knock himself into a coma, Doomsday fought a natural man even if that man was a super man. Cain is supernatural or magical.Every punch would be new, the bearhug that he gave Thor which would have crushed him would be new to Doomsday. Cains magical nature has always defied pure strength, and the Exemplars weren't weak.
