Let's compare. Both have energy attacks, both have decades worth of fighting experience (essence has more), essence can turn intangible, and use darkness attacks.

I didn’t know about the intangible part. That would be her edge. I think Cobra is faster and more devastating. Essence has one of my favorite visual designs though, I don’t like picking against her.
