I would classify him as awful.

He is one of the few comic characters that are better represented in movies and cartoons than the actual canon he comes from.

He's just on the side of the hero line, for me. It wouldn't be hard to turn him in to an anti-hero, and he has done anti-heroic things, but his morality just isn't grey enough for me.

Like stilt says, he is a bit of both.

I also finds him to be the most self righteous blow hard out of the Trinity. Especially when he had to nerve to tell Clark, the last time he inspired anyone was when he died.

I was like ****er, when have you inspired anyone to be better you self righteous blowhard!

Bruce is also the character that does shitty things, and no one calls him out, and if they do, they magically forgets about them in the next book.

If we're talking about the Batfamily, then Jason and perhaps Damian are anti-hero types.

Huh? People regularly call him out on his shit.

I mean yes, Bruce is a blowhard, but he's been told multiple times by people that he is indeed just that.

Batman is more on the hero side. It's his hard interrogation method and bold determination to get the truth in any means that sometime puts him on edge.
