All powers at play here. No such thing as battle field removal, nothing. Every ability possible that both of these beings can do under their own powers can happen in this thread. No limitations. No sundipping though. No amps.
Want to know how skinny Superman compares? He got shot in the head. Reason Superman, had his back turned, a guy pointed a gun to his own head pulled the trigger. Reason Superman caught realized what was going on with his back turned stopped a suicide at point blank range. So skinny Superman that was beating the crap out of Thawne Is much slower than regular Superman. This is spite.
How can Superman win in a fight without surprise advantage? Thawne can vibrate through any attack and casually move through time to kill Superman in his crib. That one-shot was retarded imo. Being able to move through time like that without any consequences but Barry created Flashpoint just by saving his mother? Weird imo.
If Superman grew to adulthood in Krypton, that would be another story, but spending his child hood on Earth with minimal protection is a huge death sentence here. Zod for example would be a lot less vulnerable to Thawne.
Superman was killed via a gun that Batman grabbed in a laboratory studying Kryptonite radiation. We see him grab it specifically and use it to kill Clark. Just an fyi.
Nah bro, the Time Travel part makes sense. Its brilliant, actually. Thawne, in his era, became the leading Speed Force Scientist in the world and obsessively studied the Speed Force, Quantum Probabilities, and Time Travel. This scan alone explains why Barry ****ed everything up with his Historical Alteration yet Thawne is able to alter history and create the scenarios he wants, without much error.
Thawne's Temporal Cosmic Awareness allows him to see and feel the ripple effect of the alterations he will make to history. Thawne's Time Travel/Historical Manipulation is surgical, precise, and calculated. While Barry's is clumsy, inaccurate, and without insight.
hes got a form of Cosmic Awareness that can stretch for hundreds of thousands of years.
