Ken's pressure points are pretty plot devicey, he could have them fall asleep, make their heads explode, make them stop breathing, force them to hug each other to the death and a full plethora of effects that would incapacitate them. He is also superhumanly fast so it's not as if the team was going to get the jump on him
Faced with poison? Just hit his pressure point to buff poison resist by 90%.
Need to interrogate someone? Press pressure point to make them talk while they tap dance.
Facing Parasite who steals life force if you touch him? Simply rip off a strand of your hair, and throw it point blank into his pressure point.
There was an answer for pretty much anything. He even brought Bat back to life, after most of the series stressed Kenshiro has limits and can't do that.

Worst case, Kusumi Kenshiro, a predecessor to FotNS Kenshiro, had an ability where he brought himself and his opponent to a void dimension, where all powers are null and void. Essentially like Astral Plane fighting.
From there it becomes a nerd vs a martial arts expert.
