I actually don't know of Zod himself having any resistance feats, but by default Kryptonians have some degree of resistance just being Kryptonian, and Zod should be above the norm. If Ikaris has minimal telepathy like Mind said, it probably shouldn't be a big factor.

I’ve never seen Icarus defeated within the herald tier. Just wondering why he wouldn’t give Zod a good fight alone? Never mind the Nega Bands that may drain the power from Zod for all we know.
It’s not as cut and dry as it seems when both sides are considered. Zod’s air combat has been challenged, and many times it ended in his opponents favor. He’s wreckless and not headed. Mar-Vell is an impressive warrior, and unless Zod hits like Thanos which he does not, Mar-Vell is a factor as well.
Red Hulk : You know they say all monsters are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Savage hulk and you can see that statement is NOT TRUE! See, normally if you go one-on-one with another monster you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak, and I'm not normal! So you got a 25-percent at best at beat me!. And then you add Abomination to the mix? You chances of winning drastic go down. See, the 3-Way at KMC you got a 33 and 1/3 chance of winning. But I! I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, cuz Savage hulk KNOWS he can't beat me, and he's not even gonna try. So, Zod , you take your 33 and 1/3 chance minus my twenty five percent chance and you got an eight and 1/3 chance of winning at KMC. But then you take my 75 perchance-chance of winnin' (if we was to go one on one), and then add 66 and 2/3-percents, I got a 141 2/3 chance of winning at KMC! Señor Zod? The numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at KMC!"
