Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).

Update the virus definitions.

Restart the computer in Safe mode or VGA mode

Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Trojan.Simcss

Delete the values that was added to the registry.

to disable your system restore:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...src=sec_doc_nam

update: just update your virusscanner, it's usually the button that says "update"

restart in save mode: http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml

scan: you know that

delete: just hit the delete button when he finds it

ive done everything i could, some of the regisrty keys werent there so i couldnt delete them so im not sure of the virus is gone or not.

I use norton antivirus and the scans take hours, at least 5 hours at a time and the things it finds i cant do anything with, most of the time they wont delete and all of the time none of them fix or go into quarantine.....confused

If you can't delete them, you should boot into safe mode. Also make sure you virus defintions are up to date.
