Problem when installing....

When I try to install the Sims the pop-up box will come up, but when I press 'Install' I get a popup that says this..
CermWINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Can anyone help?!
