Speakers problem!

You turn on your computer, you turn on the speakers, then you play something but there's no sound coming out of the speakers? It drives me nuts! Anyone know how to fix it?

Are the speakers connected to the base unit?
Have you installed the Speakers?
Are you playing something that results in sound?

Sound card driver could be a problem, especially if you've recently done a system restore.

Check windows volume isnt muted, check winamp and windows media, if you have them. For some reasons, some music programs can mute the whole fecking system.
