A tech support guy told me I need to reinstall the drivers on my video card (which is relatively new) to regain the ability to customize my desktop background.
I've been having another problem with my CD burning software, and a friend of mine said I needed to reinstall my drivers to get it to work.
What are these "drivers" and how do I reinstall them?
Find out what brand and model number of video card you have, then go to that video cards website and it'll usually have the drivers for that model hosted. From there, just download the drivers. It should auto-install when you download it, but if not just run the program.

or.. if you still have the CD that came with the video card, just runt he CD and it should have the drivers on it already. it'll most likely say either install drivers or install suite.
NP Digi. Always willing to help a bestest best friend in need, especially if they're willing to bump said helping friend into the list of candidates to be a Mod.
...though I'm stillfairly low on the totem pole for Mods, so you're barking up the wrong tree anyway unless you want to be a comic mod (friendly advice: you don't)
