Wii Online

I want to play Wii online and I got all the bits and bobs but...

I plug in my router and modem and put it all in right places but it doesn't go online, cant connect to internet, anyone have an ideas whats wrong?

Like what?

It just doesn't connect. Everything that booklet says to do we done, but the net doesn't work then.

Is your network pass protected? Do you have a firewall up on your router? Have you tried hard-starting your router?

What is your router settings like?
Is the Wireless settings turned on?
How far is your Wii from the router?
Also what router are you using?
I found that some routers don't work as well with the Wii as some others

The router isn't plugged into the wii its plugged into the Modem the P.C uses.

Its wireless.
