Bizzare Problem
For a while now, i've been having a problem where i'm on the internet, and spontaneously acrobat tries to open a PDF out of nowhere. Then my computer starts to freeze up, because acrobat doesn't work well even if i'm intentionally using it. Sometimes I have to force quit, and sometimes it just goes away, with no PDF ever opening because there wasn't any in the first place.
Lately however in the wake of a few virus infections (Don't know if it's related, and I removed them successfully) the problem has gotten way worse. My firefox/acrobat does it more often, and now instead of freezing up/slowing down, firefox just crashes instantly and then I get the whole "send an error report?" thing. There's no way to predict it, and its getting to be a huge annoyance.
