I don't know. Why would anyone worship in the first place? 😕 I believe that the universe is a living being, but I would never worship the universe, or would I think the universe would want me too. In my religion, I practice; I do not worship.
Let me ask this question: What feelings of worship does a perfect, Aristotelian unmoved, prime-mover illicit? Answer: None. It's a philosophical abstraction. The central point of the Hebrew scriptures seems to be that God is alive and, in some analagous sense, a person. Many of God's various philosophical perfections are not really present to the text.

Then god would be like a powerful alien. Why worship a powerful alien?

Because your conclusion from my argument that God is just a powerful alien doesn't really hold. For God to be God, his being would have to be of another order, in fact, something like the precondition for life or consciousness itself. A being who's personhood is primary and uncaused with respect to the material order.

OK, but I still don't see any reason to worship. Respect, yes, but worship is not respect.

Hey! my answer was good too. crybaby
That what I believe most people at the core follow Christianity and others that believe in an all powerful being is out of fear of what he will do than out of “love”, for me it is like hedging your bet.
